Junior Golf

About

Exiting news for our District Clubs regarding Junior Golf in the HRDGA 2020.

The HRDGA Committee has decided to go with the strength (JNJG) who have the knowledge and commitment to Junior Golf throughout NSW which is controlled in our District by Mark Ingrey.

MyGolf Junior League is an inter club team event for 6-12 year olds, (boys and girls), playing a 2-ball Ambrose match play, each team having 3 pairs. It is a 9 hole event played on a shortened course with 3 x par 3, 3 x par 4 and 3 x par 5 holes. Points are awarded for winning or halving a hole and the total team points determine the winner on the day.

Parents and supporters are welcome to caddie, rake bunkers and help the kids get around the course at a good pace.

The focus is on having fun and experiencing a team environment while learning about match play.

CLUBS, and Club Captains it will be up to you to round up the boy’s and girl’s to enter a team into the event, the more teams entered will ensure the success of the event.

More information will be forthcoming in the New Year on WHEN and HOW the event will run.
